Re: My wagers for CFB Week 12 & NFL Week 11:
Best of fortune to all who play
11/19/2007:
NFL: 49-40-4, 55% (-634.4*)
CFB: 59-37, 61% (+959.9*)
NBA: 19-7, 73% (+249.2*)
CBB: 14-7, 67% (+241.9*)
Overall: 141-91-4, 61% (+816.6*)
NFL
79* Tennessee +1.5
Both teams make their second appearance of the season on Monday Night football. Denver lost to Green Bay at home while Tennessee won at New Orleans. The thing that stands out to me is Denver’s lack of a run defense allowing 4.8 yards/carry taking on a Titans team that ranks forth in the league with 139 yards/game. Give HC Jeff Fisher control of the clock and more times than not he’ll get his team a win. Denver’s offense has a key injury in the wide-out spot, two starting offensive lineman, and RB and former Titan Travis Henry who is injured and possibly suspended. Titans sack leader Haynesworth is questionable, but that Titans defense has been pretty good this year. Tennessee defense is holding teams to just 77 yards rushing/game and 270 total yards per game. Good enough for me, and I’ll go with the Titans plus the small number.
Peace
Doc
