I'm laying the short number with Denver. Tennessee is suffering from several bumps and bruises on the defensive side of the football, including the secondary. And, it couldn't come at a better time for the Broncos. Denver looks like they caught on a bit on offense in last week's win over a decent KC defense, in Arrowhead to boot. I believe the ground game will keep the banged-up Titan defense honest and then Cutler will be able to test the Titan defense on more than a few occasions with deep routes. Meanwhile, Vince Young is struggling in all areas. Some say that Vince just wins. Well, he owes it to the coaching staff and the players around him, because he's stinking it up as much as anybody in the league right now. Fisher and his staff want Young to pull the ball down and run more often. This is the wrong matchup for that. Denver MLB D.J. Williams is as athletic as any MLB in the league and will mirror Young's every move. It's a solid spot for the home team that's laying less than a field goal. Denver is still in the mix in the AFC West. Look for Shanahan's squad to get the win and pull even in the west with the Chargers. Denver is my Monday night release. Thanks! GL! Scott.
