The buy-in will do two things:

1. Reduce freeroll scavengers (those trolling the Internet looking for any/all freerolls). The management of the tourney when in freeroll form was becoming very burdensome. With this format, we will be left with people from the Lounge who aren't just scanning the Internet for freerolls.

2. Make the prize pools bigger and more meaningful. Instead of a total of $100 prize pool, we'll now have a pool of $100 + $5 for each entrant.

Yes, I know, we all like something for nothing. But, this is just $5 and you still get your shot at $100 free.
