Am I STUPID OR WHAT?...<Super Bowl Prop>
Hello Capper's Lounge,
As you already know I do not write all too often, usually in support of my fellow cappers, but when I find something that strikes me or has worked well in the past I continue to share.
Over the last 16 years I have bet the same prop with success each and every time. You must lay a huge Sequoia of wood, but it simply wins and it may continue to win for years to come. Matter of fact, I wish I was old enough to wager this back in Super Bowl I when GB beat up on KC right here in Los Angeles back in 1967, but I was 11 months from being born!
In all 41 previous Super Bowls this wager won. What is it?
No overtime! <-1500>
Yes I must be stupid for betting a line that ridiculous, but I have won each and every time and I implore all of you (with a little humor) to join me in this run for cash like no other. Is there value at -1500 when in reality it has not happened in 41 tries? Is -4100 a fairer line? How about -3500, or -2500...?
Yes I know, there will be overtime in some game someday, but even if overtime happens this afternoon I am still in the plus/profit on this wager.
Crazy? Or crazy like a fox?
Super Bowls tend to be blow outs especially when one team realizes they have no chance and the game IS OVER. Once reality hits, it simply snowballs.
Give your sportsbook $375 and ask them to hold your money for about 4 hours and win an easy $25 and take your lady out for a movie on me.
Cavaet! I did sweat bullets one year recently when GB gave DEN the gimme TD just so they could have the ball back in SD so Favre could drive the length of the field and take it into overtime. THANK GOD they didn't! That was the closest I came from losing.
Later and I'll see all of you at the cashier's window.
