and BTW what do you think of the phillies vs brave game? i really like the philles in this spot, they finally back home from a OK road trip, facing a braves team that just had a double head the day b4, a pitcher just making his 3rd appearance this season, first time on the road, teixeira is doubtful for this game, not to mention the braves really struggle on the road. i sense a decent value on philles RL here.
hey bud, enjoyed reading your take on the spurs game, as per the phillies vs. braves game, my friend wunderdog mentioned to me the other night, the Braves are 5-14 on the road, the worst in the majors I believe, heck, even Seattle is 6-13 on the road. Of course, the Braves are 14-4 at home. Reyes has helped the Braves win both times he has pitched but both were home starts, he has a 2.25 ERA, stark contrast to last year when he had a 6.47 ERA. The Braves are 2-0 when he starts though, he gave up 1 run in about inns to the reds in his first start, 1 run in about 3 inns to San Diego, but keep in mind he gave up 5 hits in less than 3 innings, so he is hittable, you're right he is on the road and he's likely to be flustered early, Braves are horrible on the road, Kendrick has pitched fairly well at home, my worry is that he gave up 10 hits in 6 innings to Zona last time, but of course, Zona is one of the best teams in the league by their record right now and that game was on the road, something interesting for you, Kendrick has not pitched in back to back unders all year and he comes off an under, I lean on the over in this game, do lean on the Phils, by principle, don't like the run-line. hope that helps, gl bro.
