Re: Aftermath MLB Systems (May Edition) 5.25.08
Who the hell is starting this Fla/Sf game 1? I have 3 wagers in with 3 different sets of starters. Cain/Hendrickson, Misch/Hendrickson, and Misch/Kensing. Someones wrong. Cain threw last night a bit. Doubt hes starting.
Yesterday's Recap, May 24
Again proving that I can come back when the odds are stacked against me. Baseball wasn't too great again yesterday which sets up a big day, but the 5-0 perfect sweep on Saturday between the NBA and NHL was the big positive point yesterday. Hitting on Boston and the under, which came down to a final shot, and easily nailing the trifecta on the ice with the under and Detroit money line and puck lines. Looking to finish strong today as the total system went 2-2 and innings went 1-1. this is definitly the biggest Sunday card to date. Top total also won again as I was down 1000 not too long ago. These plays will start picking up a little now that the season is roughly 2 months in. Yesterday's stats were +745 on a 9-3 total day. Today's goal is obviously to get back the rest of the 1660 lost on Friday. Back in the plus for the week. Month sits at +4275 with 8 days remaining.

2* SF/FLA UNDER 9 GM 1 (Misch/Hendrickson)

"1ST FRAME" Inning System
2* KC/TOR (NO)
The "DOG" System
1* TEXAS +190
The Texas Rangers look to win this series today after taking game 1, and losing game 2. Again, we have a line with CC Sabathia who has looked decent of late but hasn't been laying this much this year which is a shock. Oddsmakers feel that he should roll in this one but what do we know about this kid Mathis? Not much, so with that on our side I feel that this is a lopsided juice game just so everyone and their families bet on the tribe this afternoon. I'll say it again, you'll see these "mis-matches" lose more than win. Already seen a couple this season already. Thrown in the big fact that Texas can hit Sabathia by all means and you have yourself a great dog play for Sunday. Don't be surprised if Texas wins this one today.
1* SEATTLE +215
You'll start to see Wang laying this much now that the Yanks are hot and A-Rod is back. I know the Yanks steam-rolled Seattle the last 2 games and this makes for a perfect payback. Alot of people will lay the money on the Yanks today. If Washburn keeps this Seattle team in this one I personally feel that each starter would get a no-decision and the M's bullpen will outduel the Yanks pen. Think this is a primed dog play where the team is down and out of it, the moneys on the wrong side and a close game could be curtains for those high juice laying bettors on a Sunday. Early indegestion for yanks fans. The Dog system started hot, had a setback, is still up for the year, and 1 win today would still solidify being in the positive on the season. Looking for 2 wins though and a big payday. All it takes to get back into the game.
Bonus Total Plays w/write-ups
1* SEA/NYY UNDER 9.5
Sticking with one play again today as there were several to choose from, like yesterday and it is always better to go 1-0 than 2-1. Wang goes for NY today and faces Washburn and the M's. Everytime a Yanks system plays pops up its usually on the winning side. I certainly didn't like yesterdays with Silva on the mound instead. Awful start, much like the season has gone for him. Moose didn't look too hot either and I figured the Yanks would score a bit but also counted on the Yanks to allow a couple tops. Not the case but today I like this added total to be a little different then yesterday's result. Wang has absolutely owned Seattle at home, and being roughed up against the Mets last weekend look for him to pitch a strong game today. Washburn, like Wang has pitched impressively in NY. Bedard also had a great track record in NY and look how that one turned out. I said that even though this team is an under team this year, they will hit many overs when the "Rod" comes back. Motivation lifter and they are playing the AL's worst club. These totals should be set no lower than 10 runs, not that it mattered yet but I question a 9.5 line. I must point out Wang is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in day games. This game should be tight going into the late innings. If more than 6 runs are put up through 7 innings this play will be washed up. Washburn has to pitch better than a 6.7 road era. I can see a 3-1 game late, and the M's pen should do fine like they have done giving the circumstances in this series. Chamberlain will not be seen today so the M's could get a late run or 2 and possibly come from behind to win this one. This finalizes the double play on this game.
From what I've looked at you shouldn't see more than 7 runs in this game today.
