NBA Playoffs POD Summary:
WNBA 2008 Updated Research (Will do daily research when I return)
I have consistently written that the Minnesotta Lynx were going to have a big year, just go back to last year when I put that the Lynx will beat the Storm big in my WNBA GOY. They are young, athletic and this is why you keep track with teams regardless of the sport in the closing months of a season, just like the Sixers 2 years ago who closed out the year strong and who were undervalued coming into 07-08' the same with the Minnesotta Lynx. Heck, the Chippewas in College Football were undervalued this past year. This is the basis of my handicapper. The dog/over principle, the favorite/under principle and dogs that are extremely undervalued.
Some things for you to note: (I have to be blunt because of limited internet connection)
The Monarchs because of new coaching and styles of coaching are struggling terribly, the Sparks are going to consistently play road overs as they are piling up the points, but teams get up to play them, similar to the Celtics on the road who consistently played overs. Look for the Lynx to continue to win ballgames and especially as road underdogs such as against Houston. Speaking of Houston, look for the Comets to continue playing unders and I expect a Detroit vs. Sparks Finals - IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT THE NBA AND WNBA CHAMPS COULD RESIDE IN LOS ANGELES. Look for the Sparks to battle it out against the Lynx in what should be a great WNBA playoff season. I would love to write more and can't wait to write more when I come back home. Now some thoughts on the nba:
