NBA Finals Game 3 Research
Celtics vs. Lakers
So far so good in the NBA finals, 2 up and down. As noted, whenever there is an active dog, time and time again, the games go over. Granted, the Lakers needed over 40 points in the 4th quarter to become an active dog, but they still managed to lose by 2 possessions. Plus, I frankly think the Lakers are the better team as they are deeper and they have a far better flow to their offense on the road or at home- of course, they haven't shown this and the heart of Kevin Garnett is quite apparent as the Celtics came out even strong in game 2. Keep in mind that this line has jumped considerable from the off shore line that was available and over 60% of the public favors the Celtics, the dog, which is never good for the dog. I've said it countless times, similar to the Packers vs. Cowboys game when over 70% of the public rode the undefeated Packers this past season, think the Pack were 8-0 heading into that game, the Cowboys defeating them late ATS in a game that was televised on the NFL network, a network where shadiness continues to ensue. But, once again, whenever the public favors a "dog" by over 60% that typically does not bode well. Plus, the Celtics have showed that they cannot produce on the road for most of the playoffs, granted, they have had some bright spots here and there. I lean on the under here as I think the Celtics point output will be considerably less today, I would not be surprised to see a backdoor Celtics cover however, but this is an angry Laker team right now. I do think the Lakers cover irrelevant of what happens in this game in 4. After all, if they win SU, they are still down 2-1, it is a must win in game 4 considering at home they would face elimination in Boston if they were to lose game 4 at home (being down 3-1 to boston if they lose game 4) which is a tough place to play, if they lose SU, they would be down 0-3 and would have to show up for at least 1 game at home to avoid getting swept.

Detroit vs. Sparks
Do not lose sight this is a huge revenge game for the Sparks as they lost by a bucket in Detroit last time out, I took the over in that game as I remember as I expected the Sparks to be an active dog, Detroit is an incredibly talented team including on the road, but don't be surprised to see a Sparks win and cover here.
Indiana vs. San Antonio
This is a revenge game for San Antonio as San Antonio from last year losing by 3 points as Indiana won as 5 point dogs, I wouldn't be surpised to see an under here and San Antonio is still undefeated at home.
Phoenix vs. Seattle
The game I am most looking forward to, I think Phoenix gets revenge here as beating the Sparks on the road was a huge stepping stone for this team that can beat any team in the league as well as lose to any team in the league, so goes the saga of the Mercury team which is very inconsistent, but they can get up to beat anyone or they can lay down to anyone as well.
