Re: Aftermath MLB Systems (May Edition) 6.1.08
Yesterday's Recap, May 31
Absolute solid day yesterday. Getting back the Friday loss, the systems came up huge on Saturday. Those wondering where the Mets system under play disappeared to, well after the system loses the first 2 game totals it is not worth it to play game 3. My numbers have shown that playing this way would not help your funds. Overall after games 1 and 2 lose, game 3 is winning at a hair under 50%. Which in the end is a losing proposition. You will have more series wins and all-together wins than your losses so I usually eat that 3rd game. Yesterday's Mets under would've hit. This season this type of play on the system is now 3-6 after last night. Last weekend was brutal because I decided to plays games that the odds were against as far as wins were concerned. Bad call but I have made up for it this week and look to end the month strong. I will probably throw in the Mets under tonight as it is the last game of the week and month. Systems went 7-3 play for play yesterday pulling in +955 in funds. 95% of the time pitchers that are listed will play but its always the 5% that gets you. I will do my best to list or try to list pitchers I have in my plays. That way if those aren't the pitchers listed at your book, you wouldn't have to put it in. Good Luck on this fine Sunday!

The "DOG" System
1* WASHINGTON + 185
Shawn Hill takes on Danny Haren and the D-Backs today in a late afternoon game. Hill is one of the Nats very best pitchers. Hard to think that with the talent on the mound they've had they can't get out of the basement in the NL East. Tough division, yes, but they are not winning these close games. I think going against Haren at this price is alot of value here. Haren hasn't pitched as well as he usually does at home. I like a one run game either way here but think the Nats can squeak this one out. Especially after yesterday's loss. Look for a 4-3 game.
Bonus Total Plays w/write-ups
1.5* NYY/MIN UNDER 9
Rasner takes the hill today against Nick Blackburn. Rasner has already proved to be one of the best young pitchers the Yanks have had in a starting role of late. Better than Phil Hughes, and better than Ian Kennedy. Look for Rasner continue his domination on the mound today as he faces a Twins line-up that has already faced him. He only allowed one run in that appearance. Blackburn has never faced the Yanks line-up in his career but has pitched very good at home. Only a 2.41 era that is at home. He has a 3.39 overall. Look for this game to finish around the 4-2 area as I can't see what happened in last nights game to happen again. Yanks have been playing alot of overs recently but they are still an under team. Look for the under here in this one. Should be a good ballgame.
