MLB Pit (+140) game 1(3 units)(win) my theories on doubleheaders is as follows: I have found that more often than not the teams split the 2 games. The team that wins game 1 tends to rest their better players in order to get all of the position players on the roster in. I bet the dogs if the same team is dog in both games. Only exception to this is if the dogs are both +200 or more. tor(+130) game 1(3units)(loss) if necessary same bet gm 2 Tor(+145)(win) bosox/twins under 9.5(loss) Similar to batista yesterday, buchholz has bounced back from all previous rough starts. hernandez has been a magician his whole career, putting runners on base all game long and then POOF!!! end of the inning. Fla/cin over 9(+105)(win) harang has pitched well but feels like he needs to pitch a shutout to win. This pressure will get to harang here as the offense for the marlins is kicking. Badenhop has had 2 quality starts his last 2 times out, but that was at home.Young pitchers tend to be great at home but struggle on the road. LAA/CWS over 9(win) STLOUIS(loss) NATIONALS(+145)(win) this game is a toss up. Figueroa has been decent not spectacular this year. He puts many runners on. Perez is on a bounceback. Way up on the first post in this thread you mentioned that teams tend to split a double header. According to stats on that its not true. People tend to think they do for some reason but in actuality teams that win the first game in a double header go on to sweep it over 50% of the time. Its not a ton over 50% though so if the team that lost the first game is a dog in the 2nd they are probably a good bet, but if they are a favorite its probably not.

based on winnings this week I have crossed the $11 grand bankroll total. This will allow me to up my base bet to $110(one unit). I always try to keep my base unit as 1% of my bank roll for those who are looking at this for the 1st time.

I will be testing out my own tweak on the MLB dog system, hoping for some nice return with little downside. We will see how it goes.

MLB dog system games look like this:All plays for series (213-227) starting on friday will have base bets of $225. $221(chase 199,205,208,209,211) + $5(base bet) = $226 + vig . Bad month for dogs right now. The last 4 sets of series have seen 5,4,5 and 5 series get swept by the favorites. This is a rare occurance that this many sweeps happens back to back in baseball. in the last 5 years I have researched this has happened like this only once before(august 2005). I have to assume past forms will hold true and I will make all my $$$ back plus some within 2 weeks. Good luck to all.
