Not exactly the "oh wow, look at this new guy" first post I was looking for, but we're right back at it again on Sunday.
2* SF -135 At home. Lincecum on the hill. Playing to avoid a sweep. I think they can score enough against Parra to put this one away.
TX +115 They kill Baker, and Padilla (might be my favorite name in baseball) has had success against Minnesota. I like them getting plus money here.
Cle/Sea under 8.5 (-120) Cliff Lee breeds unders... as does the Seattle line up.
Det/Bal under 10 (-115) This one is a rubber game, with Verlander going and some resting starters on both sides. Coming off the long, high scoring game yesterday I see this one staying under.
Wednesday is probably my favorite day of the week for baseball capping. Games on from noon til midnight and I got a heavy card going... On a side note, only 37 more days until college football season starts!!!
7/23 Plays:
2*Washington even
Braves/Marlins Under 8.5 -110
Baltimore -119
Houston -135
Chi Cubs -120
I hate hate hate to do this, but I don't see either of these teams losing tomorrow...
NYY+TB +175
This week has been hell to say the least, sorry I didn‘t get to post anything for yesterday. I live just south of San Antonio and Hurricane Dolly just swept through, I'm going to be spending the afternoon chainsawing a 80 foot maple tree out of the front yard incase anyone is looking for some firewood. No real damage though, thank god, just a lot of flooding, lost power, and a tree. It was pretty bad across the state though. It doesn't rain very often down here, but when it rains it pours. At any rate, I'm back today. The Road Team System has no plays carrying over from yesterday, there are a couple teams that are on their second straight road series, but most of MLB had yesterday off. If a team has a day off and gets to travel home and rest up it pretty much defeats the purpose of the whole thing. If anyone wants to jump on it for the weekend series, feel free.
Cleveland gave up 3 in the 9th turning an excellent day into an average one.
Mil -1.5 (even)
Mil -175 I don’t see a hot Milwaukee team losing a series to a struggling Houston team, three hits last night and another sub-par pitcher on the hill for Houston tonight, I think they get blown out here
Atl +245 I think Hamels is one of the most over hyped pitchers in baseball, I’ll take ATL for the value
Texas +165
Ari/SF over 6.5 (even) The lowest O/U of the season always smells like a sucker bet, but Ariz has been putting the bat on the ball lately and Licenum has been struggling, so I’ll take it… call me a sucker.
