I'm leaving this quote up for the rest of the year, first thing I read each morning.

NBA Sunday Research
Charlotte vs. Cleveland
I actually lean on Charlotte here with revenge, but after so many games of going against Cleveland and their odd way of covering late in ballgames, no thanks, although I think the Bobcats will be competitive most of this game with a shot late at winning outright. Both teams come off losses.
Dallas vs. Miami
Call me nuts, but I like Miami here to hang tough as they did that against a Magic team that not many people thought they would have a chance against. Dallas beat this team at home earlier this year but Dallas has lost their last 3 home games and the reason why they blew out the Pacers was because they had revenge against them earlier this year. Haslem is listed as questionable but Marion will likely play today. Remember Miami lost by just 5 on the road earlier this year. I am likely to take this game over either Arkansas or Wisconsin if I do have a 3rd play today simply because it is a home dog versus taking 2 favs on neutral footing. Miami and Dallas has both covered their last 4 ballgames.
Atlanta vs. New York
Yes, I know the Knicks are horrible, I am aware of this, but I went to the Hawks vs. Knicks game last time in Phillips Arena a while back and the Knicks actually covered the 6.5 line on that ballgame and they played well. This is a bit of a rivalry considering how young these players are on both teams and in some ways, they are a prototype of each other with the Hawks being slightly better. Although Woodson is just as much of an idiot as Isiah but doens't get the press coverage on his idiocity. The majority of the public of course favor the Hawks who secure the last playoff spot in the division right now.

You see a pattern? You should see New York and Atlanta essentially exchanging wins back and forth. I wouldn't be surprised to see New York pull out the outright win at home today as I love my Hawks dearly, but they do struggle on the road.
Toronto vs. Sacramento
I like the Kings to bounce-back today after their butt-whooping they took at the hands of the Suns, at the same time though, I like the Raps to play competitive basketball as they always do. Kings on the bounce-back and the Raps on the bounce-back themelves, this should be a good game, no thanks.
Seattle vs. Denver
No team likes getting drilled by 40+ points and that is exactly what happened when these 2 teams played last time at Seattle. Denver comes off some nice home wins and Seattle comes off a loss to the Twolves who were getting revenge from an earlier overtime win by the Sonics at Minny, I think Seattle of course will lose this game, but they have a huge incentive to play well today from a 40 point thumping as these are nba players and they do have pride, and don't forget, seattle is healthier than they have been in a while.
College Basketball Sunday Research
Georgia vs. Arkansas (SEC Championship)
I started my research with this game not only because it goes off early, but keep in mind that Arkansas is a top 40 team while Georgia is a top 100 team. Of course, playing at Georgia Tech I think has been an advantage for Georgia Tech as these SEC teams have never played in the McDonalds Arena while UGA being a rival of Georgia has. Arkansas has revenge having lost to UGA by 13 on the road and be careful here, I know the points seem nice, but UGA, if they don't get their feet underneath them early, Arkansas is a very talented and phyiscal team that can very well beat UGA by 10+ points. I'm leaning on the backs today.
Illinois vs. Wisconsin (Big 10 Championship)
I would love to take Illinois here given how well they are playing, yet, Wisconsin is no joke and they showed it against MIchigan State. Just when you think this team is out of it, they come back chipping away and eventually pulling out a game, hence, that is why they are top 10 in the nation, the ability to pull out ballgames late, just like UNC.This Wisky team beat Illinois by 10 at home and by 14 on the road. I honestly don't think 7 points is too much to cover here for Wisky as I think the favorites will have a chance to bark in a big way today which is a step away from all the dogs that were covering. Lean on wisky here.

Spreadsheets are useful for a reason. You are able to notice trends and see if they are worthwhile in taking the next wager because of them. Such is the case with this play. As I mentioned on the research above, I am not a fan of the Knicks whatsoever, but at times, they are in a good spot, such as drilling the Bobcats at home in a 5* play for the game of the month while back. The Knicks and Hawks are rivals in many ways but they are young teams that get up to play each other as they are two of the younger teams in the league. Take a look at their past results and tell me if you see a trend:

You're correct if you say the Hawks and Knicks have exchanged wins the last 10 times they have played, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Now, the Knicks get to face the Hawks at home after losing by 6 on the road, a game that I personally watched at Phillips Arena and the Knicks played very hard. The Hawks lost on the road to the Bobcats and are still a very poor road team and I think the Knicks get up to play them at home and likely win this game outright with revenge. The Hawks are 1-6 ATS in their last games in New York and the home team is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings, the public likely takes a hurting today on the public favorite in the Hawks.
