Conversly, the player we pit him against, Gerald Wallace, like to score on putbacks and in the lane shots, but what awaits in the paint tonight is Dwight Howard. Wallace is not a great shooter, so I look for his scoring to be down tonight, allowing Vince to exclipse him by about 6pts. Therefore;

Good start, although very tight throughout, Carter hit a huge three with 53 seconds left, which set into motion a stretch in which Carter then hit 2 free throws and Wallace missed 2 out of 4, which squeaked this bet into the win catagory. Hell, after getting screwed by a combo of refs and bad coaching in the NFl, I'll take it to the bank.

Billups only took 6 shots, Melo wouldn't miss one, and Billups sitting 6 minutes at the end becuase they were blowing them out made this prop a loser. Nice job by Calderone, although he did have 6 pts and 1 assist in garbage time.

Tonight, looking at the German bomber tonight, Dirk Nowitski, who has been phenominal, averaging 26 pts and 9 rbs per game vs Mr. Duncan, a double double man in 15 pts and 11 rbs per game, We have Mavs with revenge, playing at home, and missing Howard and Dampier. This leave quite a hole in rebounding and scoring, so Dirk will have to step it up tonight.
In the Spurs, I see a more complete team, Jefferson helps the scoring, and Manu is finally healthy, plus Blair is playing quality minutes. To me, this makes fopr a more relaxed Duncan, while still more than capable of dominating, may be worked in slower from injury, and may be paced, so that when the playoffs come, look out NBA. Dirk will go to work, Nowitski tops Duncan's number by about 8-10 pts and rbs. Therefore;

Roaring batlle of a game, as the big dogs exchanged punches. Great sportsmanship and professionalism shown in first quarter when Duncan accidentally hit Dirk in the head, checked on him to make sure he was ok, and both tapped each other and played on. More of that is needed from todays pros! Both players deserve some props for their effort.

Battle of bigboys in the East, looking at Kendrick Perkins. While a nice player to have, does everything a center should, tonight he has to face up a monster in Howard. With the absence of Nelson, look for Orlando to dump it in to Howard more, resulting in Perk picking up fouls at an alarming rate. Too bad Rafer has be exiled into my neck of the woods, really feel that Magic would have won title last year had Gundy sat Nelson and let Rafer do his thing. That coupled with Doc's new toy, Rasheed Wallace, will result in Perk getting less than his usual total number of around 17 combined pts and rbs. I look for maybe 6pts and 9rbs for Perk tonight. [i]If I can get Howard plus anything vs Bosh, I'll take it. Bosh has great stats, 27pts and 12rbs, but the rbs will down due to Howard, and Magic has quality defenders in Lewis, Bass, Barnes and Pietrus, who can frustrate Bosh.
Howard on the other hand produces against anyone, and I do not feel anyone on Raptors is especially fond of playing D agaiunst the beast.

Tonight, let's take a look at Luol Deng vs Brandon Roy. Both excellent players with all around stat sheet filling talent. Bulls play an up tempo style, while Portland tends to be more defensive minded and play to the under, but mind you not because they are a slow paced team. Andre Miller will gladly run up and down with the Bulls, so I see Brandon benefiting and raising his scoring here. Conversly, Deng runs into an array of large talented front court men on Portland, which should lower his scoring this evening. Roy wasn't pushing the ball like I thought, and Deng made us pay, by having a stellar game. Split pn the plays, over came in easy on Bulls/Tblaz, but Spurs blow a 13pt lead with 3 1/2 minutes left and end up down 1 at half. Pop is going to be pissed.
