Here are the Details for the March Madness Contest
We are very proud at the Lounge that we will have given nearly $10,000 in Cash Prizes as well as Diamond Sportsbook Cash. In fact, by the end of this year, we will be approaching the Tens in thousands of Dollars when the Site hits its 2 year anniversary in October of this year, 2008. .
Contest Details:
Diamond Sportsbook Cash
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $200
Diamond Sportsbook Account
You must have a Diamond Sportsbook Account. Many have already participated in Capperslounge contests and already have a Diamond Sportsbook Account. You only had to activate your account once and if you have an account, you are all set. If you do not have an account, you must sign up using the banner on the right hand side of this page that says, "Diamond Sportsbook". I believe the minimum deposit is $50. You will never have to "re-sign up" again and will be eligible for all Contests from Diamond Sportsbook Here on Out. Obviously, we have a lot of these contests throughout the course of the year. We pooled the money recently to have this Big Contest for March Madness.
Dates
Contest Starts: March 18th, 2008.
Contest Ends: April 7th, 2008 in the Alamodome, San Antonio in the National Championship Game.
Rules:
The Contest is Against the Spread. Totals and Sides are both Included.
We will Hide the Pending Plays for all Players this time around.
Units can Range from 100 to 500 per play, it's up to you.

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes as this is a fairly straight forward contest as these always are, but if there are any disputes, it will be decided by Abovethevig, Taco, Stockpicker, Vytas. I trust their judgment and they are fair cats. The Bartender has the final word on all matters.

yea, I think that adds more fairness into it and a bit more excitement. "Strategery" will be in full force.

I logged in to wagerline to look at the format and they have games listed under the Cappers Lounge March Madness. It also says the contest starts March 10th. This may cause some confusion. Just want to give you a heads up. jack
I went to sign up and picked some games and there not hidden and there are games for tonight also.
Your picks are hidden to other people. The thing is, these games technically shouldn't count unless we are doing conference championships. I did 1 total play for $100 just to get myself into the contest.
You are allowed to make a Maximum of 5 Wagers before the Start of March Madness. Once again, you are allowed to make a Maximum of 5 Wagers in the Conference Championships. Please do not make more than that. thanks. This is preference to those early birds that signed up early and honestly, I don't think it will make a difference in the end as most are not in the positive.

IC you say it start on the march 18 right, but how come on wager line it say the starting date is march 10. SO what happen if there are people up ahead of the starting date, does that mean it'll add to their total once the real starting date (march 18 come) or is it going to reset everyone to zero.
I don't even think the guy that is 7-1 is a member of this forum, so tough $hit for him. If you are not a member of the forum before you start picking, you are not entered into the contest as far as winning goes. This prize money is for all of the members that have been here and posting and contributing.

Any Member that has more than 5 picks before March Madness starts is Disqualified. I made it clear not to have more than 5 picks prior to March Madness Starting. He is Disqualified. Moderators, please take notice of that. Besides, as stock stated, he is not a member of this forum regardless which will still disqualify him.

Just made 9 picks today to catch up before I read this. I don't know what will happen but does that mean I am out and cannot start after the 65 are picked? I'm OK either way cause I didn't read all the posts and just saw other picks on the site. Let me know what to do.
