Football
Football Early Bird Package (NFL & College) now available until August 18th (Season starts August 29th). I will be handicapping the Pre-Season as well: looking forward to a great season of NFL, SEC, Big 10, Big 12 and Big East Football as that is all I will be focusing on this year - but just focusing on that will yield a lot of value in my opinion and that itself is a lot of teams to follow and counless trends will show up by doing research in the NFL and these specific conferences. In fact, these are the same conferences I will focus on for what I am probably most known for College Basketball and the NBA.

Friday WNBA Research
Washington vs. Atlanta
Atlanta is a small home dog here, note that Erika Desouza is out indefinitely from a June injury and she is averaging around a double-double in points and rebounds a ballgame, Atlanta did win at Minny and at Indiana despite that though, but they have struggled their last 2 ballgames after having shown some life in the previous few ballgames, they lost to Phoenix by 26 on the road and 13 to Sacramento at home, Atlanta lost to Washington by 6 and 11 on the road this year so now they play them at home and look to avoid losing 3 straight to them, Washington comes off a home loss to New York and they are just 3-9 on the road, of course, the Dream are just 1-11 at home, small lean on the Dream here, but frankly with Washington coming off a loss, no thanks on either of these teams.
Sparks vs. Liberty
There were 3 suspensions yesterday that I was not aware of, glad it was just for 1 unit on the ML but Leslie, Parker and Milton-Jones were all suspended by the league. They will be back for this road ballgame at New York however and likely come back with a vengeance. Remember, New York beat this team by 11 on the road with a massive 30+ point 4th quarter to get it done, so the Sparks remember that ballgame, the Sparks are also getting spanked on the road at Connecticut given all of these suspensions right now as I write this on Thursday evening, but did win at Detroit when all those ladies are there, New York comes off a nice win at Washington which I cashed on the other day and have covered 6 of their last 7 and heck, they are 7-2-1 in their last 10. If anything this is a game the Sparks can win outright, a lean on the sparks and the over here given that they are likely to be an active dog.
San Antonio vs. Minnesota
This is a big revenge game for San Antonio as if you remember, Minny recently rolled into San Antonio and defeated them on the road as outright dogs of 7 points, in fact, they won by 13 points which makes it a massive 20 point swing. San Antonio consequently bouncedd-back from that loss with a win and cover at home against Chicago. Minny however comes off a 3 point loss to Seattle which stinks considering that if they won that game, San Antonio would be ripe for the big road win as Minny would be going into a let-down, however, minny lost that game as it seems they might have had a let down of their own after the san antonio win losing to Seattle at home. These teams have traded blows back and forth this year with it going minny, san antonio and now minny again winning on the road, don't forget San Antonio won at Chicago, Washington and Phoenix as well, this is a game that should be hard fought but this is a game that I think they can win again but it will go back and forth likely all night.
Seattle vs. Phoenix
Seattle and Phoenix have hooked up for 3 ballgames this year and it has decidedly gone in Seattle's favor each time:
07/10/08 SEA 89 - PHO 78 SEA -6
06/11/08 SEA 83 - PHO 77 Push -6
05/22/08 PHO 83 - SEA 87 SEA 3.5
Note that all 3 of these ballgames went under as well as the first game had Seattle going on the road to Phoenix and winning outright as 3.5 dogs, the next ballgame had Seattle winning by 6 at home, once again going under and most recently Seattle beat this team at home by 11 points covering the 6 point spread and now Phoenix looks to avoid losing 4 in a row to Seattle this year. Seattle is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 ballgames and Phoenix comes off a 2 point road loss to Houston in a game they frankly should have won. I would love to choose Phoenix here, but Seattle is indeed the better team given how well they have played but Phoenix does have revenge, either way, Seattle has played incredible ball lately, no thanks, likely staying away.

Friday's Comp Selection
Comp selections are always one of the premium selections on the card. Win or lose, it adds a little more to the thread each day and I simply believe if you put something out, it should be something that you are actually playing. Hope you find it helpful.
