SEATTLE WEATHER REPORTS REAL????

Hello,

First thanks to IC and everyone else for the shout out on CHI/RAMS game. Hey guys we all are NORMAL(?) people just trying to make a few or lose a few spare dollars (hopefully). If any of these picks ever saves someone from be evicted or saves a marriage.......call 1-800-gambler. lol

Like before I AM NO PRO CAPPER just a fan of NFL football and I am glad this or these evaluations can help in anyway it may to whomever. (LOSING MONEY CONSISTENTLY SUCKS AND WE HAVE ALL (?) BEEN THERE AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER IN OUR DAYS OF FUN.) Even if my picks just help fill the forum I love the rush of being right (+$) and hate the agony of being wrong(-$). So with that as always here I go for tonite and will lead into the COWBOYS/Falcons game sometime Friday or Saturday morning.

The first thought of this game was that just as previously mentioned two teams, two different directions at the end of year. But at a glance did I notice the weather report of RAIN, WIND, and WIND and WIND and RAIN and more Wind and more RAIN? Gust of 50-65 MPH??? Steady winds of 20-40 MPH??? Who will do what with the ball??? OH great Hasselback is starting for my FANTASY SQUAD!!! 2nd round of the Playoff.....Uhhhhh CALLING IN PHILLIP RIVERS we have a QB change!!! Unfortunately its not that easy in the NFL though.

I dont care who runs what and how good they do it....if the reports are right on this weather then they can take this under down to 26 and I'll STILL play it,(anyone remember the Chiefs Oilers game was it with the terrential rains??) these 2 IN-EPT teams have problems scoring four touchdowns in the sunshine, SEATTLE is ALL HYPE, Jackson is out Shaun isnt so explosive (currently)and Hasselback has Farve like issues where he beleives he is him at times and so does perform with the picks and the dumb throws.....thus IF the weather was right I was set to pick the 49ers, who can run the ball effectively on this Seattle D. This should be a sloppy ugly game where Holgrom just wants OUT WITH A WIN IF POSSIBLE (MANCHILD FRANK GORE COULD HAVE OTHER PLANS). Throw away revenge, throw away PLAY OFF implications because theres a greater POWER to trust tonight!!!!!!! Yup, if HE keeps it coming...the UNDER is a surefire thing.

Lean HEAVILY ON THE UNDER 39 (what I just got it at).
Lean San Fran +10, even with nothing to play for other then respect San Fran has a shot to cover this double digit number, the low score from weather would definately benefit a team getting 10 who also has a strong run game, the San Fran o-line could possibly man handle the Seattle front seven tonite....how did they fare earlier this season??? GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Hawkeye,

Like the discussion. What about Green Bay & Seattle this year in the snow at Seattle Over 58 points with limited vision.

Re: SEATTLE WEATHER REPORTS REAL????

Hawk - Picks has a great point and I was going to say the same. We saw all this talk about the wather and the line went down except that game went over - and I think this might as well - much the same. Keep in mind that Seattle plays to the over at home especially after a loss and I see this as a blowout game. I saw a report with showers in the 40 degrees but I still think it goes over -or at least has a chance.

I'm doing a standard wager on the Seahawks and a smaller one parlayed to the over. gl bro.

Re: SEATTLE WEATHER REPORTS REAL????

Hi ya'll.

Just updating my Thursday NFL post.

Weather may or may not have much influence. IC has a good point.

Seattle will definitely want to clinch NFC West tonite in front of their home crowd. If they do not, it may not happen. They have San Diego at home next and then they are away at Tampa for their finale.

I see a Seattle in a blowout. The O/U has moved again to 39, that's a three point swing. My play will be a small one at a 6 point tease, Seattle -4 and I still like the under, but not as much, for a tease at 45.

I thought about a few games with weather issues. I could not find one where the RAIN AND WIND pounded the field constantly and they STILL put up alot of points. The snow is much different then rain, in the snow the ball is ONLY COLD and maybe a little slickened. In the rain the ball is WET and SLIPPERY. Also in the snow footing, advantage OFFENSE..hold the rock tight and give the ol double shake.....defense on the heels PLUS NO FOOOTING. In the rain everyone is slowed down and the SLIPPERY FIELD wont be easy to run with or without short choppy steps. The kicking game becomes useless, now keep in mind the report said 30- 40 mph steadily with showers, its already been raining allday then its going to crank up at night??
Does anyone remember the game a few years back? I remember conditions that were similar to the ones being forcasted, with rain beating the players and field....moving the ball, and executing blocks consistantly wasn't easy that night, I all I could do is watch (what little the TV cameras were able to show) as my $$$$ washed back and forth at the 40 yardlines!!! Best of Luck with whatever you decide.
