last night all the close ones went against me as I went 2-7 with 5 games within 2 points. This set me back $285 but still profited 215 for the last week. Looking for the bounce back today as I look to pick apart championship day. All plays are $ 55 to make 50
1. C mich -3 over OHIO nice to play a home game as MAC champion. Chippewas' have been rolling and should win by 7-10.(win)
2. Oregon/Ore st under 42 Backups galore here as we have 2nd string qb for ore St and 3rd string for oregon. We all have seen Oregon's offense w/out dixon so maybe they put up 14? If that happens you think O st gonna put up 28+ with backups ? I don't think so.(loss)
3. Tennesee +7. LSU is in chaos right now and you have to question whether players will be focused. Tenn offense is in high gear and should be able to stay within a TD.(push)
4. MISSOURIMONEY LINE +140 over OKLA .Going against the pack on this one. Everybody LOVES sooners. I was surprised to see I could get this value as last game tigers led into 4th quarter and had turnovers decide last game. Temple is back for this game and offense is better now than they were in last meeting. Game is also on neutral field as last game was in Norman.(loss)
5. Arizona +7.5 over ARIZ ST. State will find out if they have a chance to make rose bowl by the time they take the field. If USC loses, then my pick will look bad but I think USC takes the steam out of ARI ST. Arizona is playing well now and have a few quality wins lately. I don't think Sun Devils are taking Wildcats seriously even though this is a rivalry game. What a surprise they are in for as the wildcats just might win outright.(win)

Arizona scares me just because everyone in the world is on them today. Hope they are all right so you hit that one.
You are right everyone loves the wildcats. That usually scares me but I heard some comments from Ariz st players that lead me to believe they are overlooking them. Kinda hard to believe that would happen in a rivalry game but it apparently happened.

Yesterday went 4-1 with my plays in NFL and another 3-0 with my leans to almost hit my parlay with a 7-1 mark. Only an extremely questionable call of a reverse when you should be milking the clock, cost me a push in that game and a win of a 7 game parlay. I am really close and still believe I will hit one of those parlays b4 the season is thru.

I like the under 48 in the PATS/RAVENS game. Lewis and co. will respond the same way the veteran eagles did to being labeled 3 td dogs, with some inspired play. Now I am a realist here this means the pats will ONLY put up 27 but do you think the ravens can put up 21??? even with heap back?? I got 3 words for you NO NO NO..(loss) but strangely enough I don't mind???
NBA Memphis -9 If both teams hold true to form Memphis wins by double digits here at least as offenses go. Neither team plays much D so I will rely on Memphis to score and score and score.(loss)
Golden St -2 Orlando has to be a lil tired playing the 3rd game in 4 nights on the west coast and facing a scoring machine in State. They have been awesome since Jackson returned and it will continue tonight.(loss)
Chicago +5 I have the Bulls keeping the roll going tonight against a struggling Mavs team. The horrible start by the Bulls will give them some value for a lil while and I will take it for a ride.(push)

Last night was an tough but sort of sweet loss in the NFL as I had the under 48 total. But as a Pats fan I was ecstatic when Gaffney caught the TD. I personally thought he was juggling the ball at the time but there isn't a ref out there who was going to turn that call over in that situation. In hoops action I pushed 2 games and won only 1 for the night as I alternate good nights with small losses. This is not a bad formula over the long haul and that is what matters.
Tonight I will roll with picks from both the college and pro hoops.

Pistons/Hawks over 188.. Against the grain pick as both have been under teams lately but I look for detroit to have some moxie tonight as the Hawks beat them last time and I think they score in the 100's 2nite(win)
Jersey +3 no lebron means the cavs will struggle once again to score and nets are on a bounce back here from last game.(win)

Memphis -8 ... look for the veteran team Memphis to wear down the young trojans over the course of the night. It is too bad USC won't stay together more than one year. This team could be special.(loss)
Providence +2... Good team w/revenge on their mind as the Rams have owned the series lately. They should be focused after letting BC game almost slip away.(loss)
New Mex St + 1.5... only cuz lang went the other way...haha...Seriously this instate rivalry is just what the aggies need to sharpen up their effort. Have not played a full 40 min yet and I expect that to change tonight.(win)

Bulls pk Like the way the Bulls are starting to come around now and with the Bobcats struggling, this seems like a fair price.(win)
Dallas -2.5 No Duncan, Ginobilli hampered... Mavs know they need to take advantage of this game and I think they will put the pedal to the metal on this one.(loss)
Hornets pk Detroit in it's 4th game in 5 nights on the road against a Hornets team that is rested. I will take my chances with that.(loss)
Sonics/Clips under 195 I like the Clips on the road on a back to back to be weary in the 2nd half. I like both teams to be in the low 90's (win)
Celts/76ers under 180 C's last 3 games really getting after it allowing 71.3 pts per game!!! If they keep that up there is no way they reach this total against a philly team who also plays good d.(loss)
Playing that many NBA games in one card is usually scary but if you like the picks you play em.

Last night My run of winning day, losing day by going 4-5 losing $70. As long as the losing days stay under $100 , then the good days will win out like they have and my bankroll will keep growing. I think last night many people had tough nights as some of the "obvious games" lost.
I see some good lines tonight and feel a good night coming on.

I like the under 38in tonight's game. there will be a simplified game plan in place for the skins as they only had 2 days of prep for this game due to the Monday funeral for taylor. This means a steady diet of Portis, portis and More portis tonight against the 27 th ranked bears run D. lets face it Grossman is not a point scoring machine since he has been reinstated as QB.
He has been managing the game and not taking many chances deep.(loss)
