MREAST is on a distinguished road
Wv @ Uconn 10-20 Friday

The Huskies are undergoing some serious internal turmoil, I live in CT went to UCONN, played sports at UCONN, and was drafted professionally from UCONN. I have many contacts at UCONN, and this will be a steep challenge for them. UCONn was under the radar when they went to a Bowl game a couple years back, mainly because they were new, not expected to do much, and mostly because they had an NFL QB in Orlavsky. orlavsky left, and put UCONN over the radar, as in overrated, and he took the offense with him. DJ hernandez won the job, but could not move the offense, so in comes Bones, and he is not an upgrade. if you look at the scoring:

21 vs ARMY 14 came on a punt return, and a 98 yd TD run)
16 vs SFLA 7 came on the last drive of the game down 38-9!
17 vs Navy
14 vs IND 5 IND TO's 4 on the plus side of the field 0 pts!
13 vs WF

West Virginia will be the best team they have seen all year. Last year Wv took advantage of the passless UCONN offense, stacked 8 in the box, and dared them to throw. They couldn't! They ended up rushing for a net total of 12 yds on 37 carries. Don't look for things to be any different. NAVY ran UCONN into the ground 464 yds SFLA ran for 205, those are the best 2 running attacks the Huskies have faced, until this week. WV has gone over 300+ on 5 occasions, mostly vs better D's than UCONN.

here is an amazing WV stat. They have scored at least 1 TD in 21 of 24 qtrs! They have scored in 23 of 24 qtrs. UCONN has been outscored 40-14.6 by ranked teams. When they play against teams in the top 10: 49-12.3!!! Lots of ways to look at this so I'll seek the value in multiple contents:

Wv does not let up in the 2nd half so I'll be looking for a 2nd half play as well regardless of the 1st half score.

They have been up 28-7 at half and won 2nd half 14-3, up 28-3 won 2nd half 24-0, also won 2nd half 24-3, 28-7, and 13-3!

WV -6.5 1st qtr
WV/UCONN OVER 9.5 1st qtr
WV -6.5 2nd qtr
WV -12.5 1st half
WV -6.5 3rd qtr
WV -3 4th qtr
WV -22 game

WV has won 14 of 24 qtrs by 7 or more points!
