I started stirring the pot a few weeks ago in anticipation of the potential Jags/Pats playoff match up. I really think Jax can pull off the SU win, but I'm not goin moneyline:

Wasted money. Jags had real trouble with Pit receivers last week. They were running free all day. If Roethlisberger could have hit a friggin receiver they would have won. Brady won't miss. Pats will go 5 wide and dare the jags to slow em down and the Jags won't be able to handle it. On offense Jags will dink and dunk and run run run. They will put together a few great 70 yard drives just to stall at the 25 and kick field goals. Field goals won't get it done today. 44-16, Pats by 28!!!!

Well, a Pats win was never really in question but Jags held it close enough to cover so good bet. I really didn't think they could. Missed field goal, Welker dropping 3rd down late in the game. Either one would have got the Pats to a cover but it didnt happen. Garrard looks like he is emerging as an elite quarterback in the NFL. He looks great. Jags are gonna be in the hunt for a while with him at the helm I think. At the end of the day every game we have seen 1 of 2 things at the end of a Pats game. Either their opponent stinks it up and gets killed. Or their opponent plays the game of their life and loses but covers the spread. Jags lost by double digits and people will be talking about how well they played. That just tells ya how good the Pats are.
