Re: Superbowl XLII Thoughts and Poll

this is not a game to be bet on the spread I prefer the money line.... this will be a really excitement game and both will go with their best moves to win...
I don't really think that the Giants are underestimate they did a good job at the end but it doesn't mean they will do the same on the super bowl

Re: Superbowl XLII Thoughts and Poll

giants have won 5 in a row ats.
ne has lost 5 in a row ats.

Do you really think both of those streaks continue?

I dont. Pats by 20 at least in a rout. Offensive line will give Brady plenty of time to pick apart the soft secondary of the giants. 45-17 pats.

Re: Superbowl XLII Thoughts and Poll

This is setting up as a smelly one! The media, along with the weak NFC, has gotten so many people thinking the dog can cover this, and in some cases, win outright! Think about what you thought of Eli before these two teams met in regular season. Inconsistent! His coaches have done a wonderful job revamping the offensive game scheme to get him through the NFC playoffs. Think about what you thought this line would have been 2 weeks ago, not knowing what you know now. Don't forget, with 1:08 left in the regular season game, NE was up by 10 at NY! Eli crashes, troubles bury the Giants, Pats roll..........41-13.

I'm betting the Giants. Why, because I'm a GIANT, YANKEE,KNICKS, RANGER FAN plus I'm tired of hearing about Red Sox nation. Where the hell was Red Sox nation before 2004 jack

Dont think Eli has enough in the bag to beat the Patriots. Everyone ive talked to loves the Gaints and most of the touts also. Patriots to cover the spread!!! What do i know ive been on a losing from hell.

Re: Superbowl XLII Thoughts and Poll

im with you jack,,,,till it involves my hard earned cash...i think the warm weather coupled with the week off helps the pats a lot more than it does the g-men....moss and welker are just too much for this group to slow down....and even if they do shut them both down, theres other options for brady, and as weve seen...he always finds them....i got a prop with them winning by 21..and the line at 12....44-13...and at least shula and co will finally shut the hell up!

I remember that when NE played Gia at Gia, the line opened up at 15 I believe, and I got on them at 14- for an easy win. I believe the oddsmakers made the line a little bit high thinking they were going to get swamped by the once a year bettors. I think the sharps took advantage of this and drove the line down. It won,t go to 10 and will probably go up by gametime. I got on the Gia at plus 14 with a futures bet and might try to middle it if my offshore ever gets off 12.

I can see a close game and I can see a 35 to 20 game, but who is going to have the most pressure? I think it will be NE trying to go down in history as the greatest of all time. But on the other hand they have been there before. There,s no doubt that they are the greatest team I,ve ever seen, and I watched Mia play 7 or 8 of their games. They were a great running team and had a great defense. That is why they went undefeated, but they can,t compare to this team.

Just my input and thoughts.

Can't compare miami to NE. Totally two different times. Now, NFL has better equipment, better resources and better trainers and stonger players. Totally different tempo. Miami is the greatest at there time and NE is greatest in 2000 generation. That being said " I think NE will beat the crap out of Giants" Reason:

1. Public is favoring Giants. More money to Giants, better for me.
2. Eli will chock like rookie just like his brother in big games. In his blood.
3. Giants cover almost every game this year except 2. They made enough money already.
4. Come on, how u going to go against England in the superbowl, especially indoor turf.
5. I take brady over Eli period.
6. Take NE Head coach over Giants Coach

final score 41-13

13 is still too much points for giants. Hehehe
