  • November 23, 2017 - Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings

Detroit won the first meeting 14-7 over the Vikings in Minneapolis. Now – these two will meet up again – with Detroit trying to get back in the race in the NFC North. The Lions are 6-4 on the season and Minnesota comes into the game with an 8-2 record. The Lions are coming off a win over the Bears in Chicago, while the Vikings came away a winner at home over the Rams last week.

This game has Matthew Stafford written all over it. Sure – the Vikings defense is pretty good, but Stafford has the ability to slice and dice through it. Look for Stafford to use Golden Tate early and often in this game. The Lions are going to win this game, and move a game behind the Vikings, and more important stay atop as one of the teams fighting for the final wildcard out of the NFC.

Score Prediction: Detroit 28-17 over Minnesota

Detroit Lions +3 over Minnesota Vikings

    • November 24, 2017 - South Florida Bulls at Central Florida Knights

Huge rivalry ganme featuring a pair of teams that have a combined record of 19-1 on the season. The Knights of Central Florida are at home against the Bulls of South Florida. The winner of this game wins the AAC East, and would take on the Memphis Tigers in the AAC title game.

The Central Florida Knights are 10-0 and were ranked 15th in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings. The Knights are coming off a blowout win on the road at Temple. Scott Frost, the UCF Head Coach is a hot rumor for several of the latest coaching vacancies. The Knights are scoring 47.5 points per game, which is the best in all of college football. Central Florida is tossing for more than 320 yards per game. THe quarterback for Central Florida – McKenzie Milton has thrown for 2,928 yards and 26 touchdowns on the season.

On the other side – Charlie Strong and the South Florida Bulls lost at home to Houston back in October. The Bulls are a pretty high scoring team themselves with 37.5 points per game. The Bulls are more known for their ability to rush the football with nearly 277 yards per game on the ground.

This ticket is more popular than the Florida State/Florida game for this season. This is going to be an elite college football game played in Orlando. These two teams are both really good, and a possible BCS Bowl game is on the line to the winner. While Central Florida may win this game, and we will predict that they do – the Bulls are not going to get blown out in this game. A double digit point spread is one worth taking.

Bet the South Florida Bulls +10 over the Central Florida Knights

      • November 25, 2017 - Georgia Bulldogs vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
With the loss of the Miami Hurricanes yesterday – the Georgia Bulldogs are feeling a little closer to getting into that College Football Playoff. But, before then – the Bulldogs know they need to take care of business to finish the regular season and also in the SEC title game. The Bulldogs play in a huge rivalry game against the Yellow Jackets on Saturday morning in Atlanta.

The Georgia Bulldogs are 7th in the country with their 10-1 record. The lone loss for Georgia was a loss to Auburn. After that loss, the Bulldogs smacked Kentucky at home to get back on track. The Bulldogs need to make sure they are 100% focused for this game, and not skip by for the Alabama Crimson Tide or Auburn Tigers next week in the SEC title game.

For the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets – it’s been a struggle. The Yellow Jackets lost a game on the schedule against Central Florida, therefore they will play just 11 games this season. The Yellow Jackets need one more to get bowl eligible with 6 wins. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a whooping on the road at the Duke Blue Devils. In the last two losses; the Yellow Jackets have allowed 41.5 points per game.

Georgia is a team that can score and score quickly. The Bulldogs have scored 40 points or more in 5 out of their last 6 wins. When Georgia lost, they scored just 17 points.

Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are the leading running backs for the Bulldogs. Chubb has picked up more than 100 yards on the ground in 2 out of their last 3 games. Look for Chubb to get over 100, and Michel to be pretty close to 100 on the game. The Bulldogs are going to run all over the Yellow Jackets defense. Georgia wins this game easily.

Georgia Bulldogs -10 over Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

        • November 26, 2017 - Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Atlanta Falcons seem to have their swag back following their road win at the Seattle Seahawks last week. The Falcons are ready to get a win, and move to 7-4 on the season, and pretty much put the Buccaneers to rest for the season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4-6 on the season.

The Falcons are the defending NFC Champions, and have the defending MVP from a season ago. Matt Ryan this season has tossed for nearly 2,600 yards and 15 touchdowns, with 8 interceptions. Julio Jones has yet to really have his big game this season, but leads the team with 786 yards receiving.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is back behind center for Tampa Bay in this game. Since taking over for Jameis Winston, he is 69 of 119 for 820 yards, with 7 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Just like Julio Jones – Doug Evans has struggled as the elite receiver for the Buccaneers. Evans has caught 4 touchdowns and has 624 yards on the season.

The Falcons defense has picked it up as of late allowing just over 18 points per game in their last three wins. Look for the Atlanta defense to keep the Tampa offense down, and come away with the win in this game.

Atlanta Falcons -10 over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

          • November 27, 2017 - Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens

The Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens are neither above .500 on the season, but this is a pretty big game in the AFC. Let’s take a look at the AFC Wildcard standings: Buffalo Bills 6-5
            Baltimore Ravens 5-5
            Cincinnati Bengals 5-6
            Los Angeles Chargers 5-6
            Oakland Raiders 5-6
            Houston Texans 4-6

The Baltimore Ravens need to win, and they would be tied with Buffalo for the two wildcards in the AFC. The Ravens have the Lions, Steelers, Browns, Colts and Bengals remaining.

The Houston Texans with a win would cause a 5 way tie for the second AFC Wildcard spot. All of the teams would be under .500, but one of them gets to the postseason after Week 17. Houston remains with the Titans, 49ers, Jaguars, Steelers and Colts to finish their season.

So – who wins? Houston has Tom Savage as their quarterback, but if he can get the ball to the right guys – he can get this job done. The Ravens Joe Flacco has not been great – as Baltimore is dead last in passing.

Look for Houston to get the ball to the playmakers and grab a massive road win in Baltimore. The Houston Texans not only cover the spread but win the game in Baltimore.

Bet the Houston Texans +7.5 over the Baltimore Ravens

            • November 28, 2017 - Xavier Musketeers vs. Baylor Bears

We move to College Basketball for the Play of the Day on Tuesday. On a day with a couple good College Basketball games, the best is the Xavier Musketeers hosting the Baylor Bears. The Baylor Bears come into the game ranked 16th in the latest Associated Press poll, with their 5-0 record. The Xavier Musketeers are 21st in the country, and sit with a 5-1 record overall.

The Musketeers are coming into the game fresh off a loss. The loss was to an unbeaten Arizona State team, Chris Mack and his Xavier team has won all three games at home this season, and scoring just shy of 100 points per game. The Musketeers are led by the scoring of Trevon Bluiett, as he has scored 20+ or more in 5 of the 6 games played this season.

Baylor, with head coach Scott Drew at the helm are starting a stretch of back to back monster games. The Bears have not avoided good competition with wins over Wisconsin and Creighton, but this game is followed by a battle against Wichita State. Manu Lecomte is the leading scorer for Baylor. The guard scored 24 in the win over Wisconsin, and is scoring 19 points per game.

Look for the Musketeers to use their home crowd, and their ability to get the basketball up and down the floor to win this game. Chris Mack and the X-men have won some big games at home in the past, and this is another one. While it will be a close game, Xavier squeaks out the cover late in the game.

Xavier Musketeers -4 over the Baylor Bears

              • November 30, 2017 - Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys

You ever have one of those feelings, where all the sudden things just don’t feel good? I got that this morning, as I was thinking about the slate of games. But, the Play of the Day was already sent out, so no changing. That’s the negative of sending it in the morning. By the way the other choice was the North Carolina Tar Heels. Oh well – live and learn. Sorry about that NBA loss yesterday. Back on track tonight in the NFL:

The NFL Game of the Night is the Washington Redskins at the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams are 5-6, and technically, both teams have an outside chance of making the NFC wildcard. But, realistically, both these teams are dead ducks.

The Dallas Cowboys have dropped 3 in a row, and for whatever reason they cannot run the football, pass the football, block or tackle without Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys are awful without him.

Washington is coming off a Thanksgiving Night win over the New York Giants. Kirk Cousins wants to finish strong, as he is going to get paid in the off-season. He would love to knock off the Cowboys in Dallas here. The Redskins are more healthy in this game, and that’s where our bet is going.

Washington Redskins -1 over Dallas Cowboys

                • December 1, 2017 - Stanford Cardinal vs. USC Trojans

Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara California is the home of the Pac-12 title game. The Stanford Cardinal will take on the USC Trojans on Friday night. Stanford is ranked 12th in the latest rankings, and are 9-3 on the season. USC is 10th in the rankings, and sit with a 10-2 record. The first time these two teams played, the USC Trojans blasted the Stanford 42-24.

In that win for USC, Sam Darnold was 21 for 26 for more than 315 yards. Darnold threw to Deontay Burnett early and often, with 9 receptions, 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. At that point, the Stanford defense was less than stellar, but recently they have started to show big time improvement.

The Cardinal have won three straight games, allowing just 18.6 points per game during that time. Those wins were over Washington, California and Notre Dame. Bryce Love is one of the top running backs in College Football, and with this game and a bowl game will finish with more than 2,000 yards this season.

Look for Stanford to be a much better version of themselves, and with the game in Santa Clara, they are going to have a home crowd like feel. Look for another big game from Bryce Love, as he had 180 rushing yards last time. Do not be surprised if he picks up 200 rushing yards in this game against USC.

Stanford upsets USC on Friday night and wins the Pac-12.

Stanford Cardinal +4 over USC Trojans

                  • December 1, 2017 - Oklahoma Sooners vs. TCU Horned Frogs

The Big 12 Championship is at 11:30am CT on Saturday. The Oklahoma Sooners are 3rd in the nation, and would be in the College Football Playoffs with a win here. They will take on the TCU Horned Frogs, who are 11th in the latest poll. Oklahoma is 11-1, while TCU is 10-2 on the season.

When these two teams played on November 11th – the Oklahoma Sooners won 38-20. The Sooners have won their last 7 games since their loss to Iowa State. The Horned Frogs also lost to Iowa State this season.

Baker Mayfield is the real deal, and he is the difference maker. The Sooners quarterback is going to torch the TCU defense, and win yet again. Bet Oklahoma over TCU.

Oklahoma Sooners -7 over the TCU Horned Frogs

                    • December 3, 2017 - Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings

\The Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings get together in one of the best games in the National Football League for Week 13. The Minnesota Vikings are 9-2 on the season, while the Atlanta Falcons are 7-4 on the season. Minnesota has been red hot with 7 straight wins. The Falcons have won their last three games.

Last week – Matt Ryan and Julio Jones were on fire. Xavier Rhodes is in for Minnesota, and he is elite against the pass game. Look for him to slow down that connection. But, DeVonta Freeman and Mohammed Sanu are two great options as well. Another great game from Matt Ryan and the Falcons slow down Minnesota.

Sunday’s winner over the Atlanta Falcons.

Atlanta Falcons -2.5 over Minnesota Vikings

                      • December 4, 2017 - Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Sorry about the Play of the Day loss last night Bad pick for the Falcons to beat the Vikings. Maybe Minnesota really is for real? WOW!

Now, the Cincinnati Bengals have their backs to the wall for the postseason. The Bengals are looking to get back into a huge tie in the AFC a game behind for the final wildcard spot. The teams in the AFC will have to catch the Baltimore Ravens, who are 7-5 on the season.

The Bengals take on the red hot Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are seeking their 10th win the of the season, and their 7th straight wn. Pittsburgh is coming off a win, albeit shaky against the Green Bay Packers last week. Antonio Brown is questionable for the Steelers in this game.

We have all heard the Ben Roethlisberger narrative about not being a real good road quarterback. The Bengals have seen him a ton, and know how to defend them. With the Bengals defense and the running game from Joe Mixon, the Bengals are going to win this game at home.

Bet the Cincinnati Bengals +5 over the Pittsburgh Steelers

                        • December 5, 2017 - Villanova Wildcats vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs
Another Play of the Day winner yesterday – as the Cincinnati Bengals got the job done. Now, it’s time to get another one today!

We take you to the Madison Square Garden for the Jimmy V Classic on Tuesday night. Two of the top programs in all of College Football are ready to mix it up. The Gonzaga Bulldogs, led by head coach Mark Few will take on Jay Wright and his Villanova Wildcats.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs have dudes. They can pound the basketball in the pain, but also can score and score and score more. This is a team that can really shoot the basketball. The Bulldogs lost an early season game by allowing 111 points to the Florida Gators.

For the Villanova Wildcats – Jalen Brunson is having a great season. The former Illinois High School Basketball star is scoring just shy of 18 points per game. With this game being played in New York City – the folks from Villanova are going to flock to America’s most famous arena.

Look for Brunson to have a monster game here – as Gonzaga cannot guard him. The home crowd leads to a win.

Bet the Villanova Wildcats -5 over the Gonzaga Bulldogs

                          • December 6, 2017 - Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls

Another Play of the Day winner yesterday – as the Villanova Wildcats whipped the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Let’s move to the NBA for our third in a row tonight.

The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls will meet up for a Central Divisional battle on Wednesday night. The Indiana Pacers are 13-11 on the season and 7th in the East and tied for second in the Central Division. The Chicago Bulls have lost 9 straight games, and are 3-19 on the season. The Bulls are 1.5 games behind Atlanta in the Eastern Conference.

The Bulls are the worst offensive team in all of the National Basketball Association with 95.6 points per game. Justin Holiday and Lauri Markkanen are the leading scorers for Chicago with just shy of 15 per game. The Bulls defense has not been much better, allowing more than 107 per game.

The Bulls will have to defend one of the hottest players in the game. Victor Oladipo, who was shipped from Oklahoma City as part of the Paul George is scoring more than 23 points per game. Oladipo is adding 5 rebounds, dishing 4 assists, and averaging nearly 2 steals per game as well for Indiana.

The Bulls will have no answer for the former Indiana Hoosier. The Bulls just keep losing games, and this is going to be by double figures. Bet on the Pacers at home.

Indiana Pacers -9 over Chicago Bulls

                            • December 7, 2017 - Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

Two teams out of the NFC South will pay on Thursday Night Football. This is the first of two meetings in three weeks for the Falcons and Saints. The Saints are in first place in the division with a 9-3 record, while Atlanta is on the outside looking in for the NFC Wildcard with a 7-5 record.

Simply put – Matt Ryan and Julio Jones dominate the division. Look for that combination to smoke the secondary for the New Orleans Saints, no matter how good New Orleans has been on defense. Also – the Falcons are basically in a must win situation, and they will win this game.

Atlanta Falcons +2 over New Orleans Saints

                                Sunday NFL:
                                Seahawks +3
                                Rams -2
