  • Thursday April 18, 2019 - Winnipeg Jets vs. St. Louis Blues

The Jets have all the momentum. After winning both games on the road in St. Louis - this is now a best of 3 series. The tough nature of the Jets, along with going against a rookie goaltender, we like Winnipeg to win this game, and move a step closer to the second round of the playoffs.

Winnipeg Jets -120 over St. Louis Blues

    • Friday April 19, 2019 - Toronto Raptors at Orlando Magic

The dinosaurs got a wake up call when they lost Game 1 at home. Now, they go on the road to Orlando, and are a small favorite in this game. Look for the Raptors to play better basketball in this game, and come away with a win. The Raptors go up 2-1 in the series.

Toronto Raptors -4 over Orlando Magic

      • Saturday April 20, 2019 - Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets

The 76ers are looking to take a 3-1 lead in the series, and go home to finish it off. The 76ers are alot like the Raptors - they had their scare in the first game, and are now ready to take care of business. You got to like what you have seen from the Nets via the competition level, but in the end - the 76ers are the better team. Philadelphia wins this game, and moves up 3-1 in the series.

Philadelphia 76ers -1 over Brooklyn Nets

        • Sunday April 21, 2019 - Arizona Diamondbacks at Chicago Cubs

Look for Robbie Ray to throw a great outing on the road in Chicago in this game. For the Diamondbacks, they are going to love feasting off the Cubs starting pitching Tyler Chatwood. The Cubs had won four in a row until Arizona smacked them on Saturday. Look for more of that, as the Diamondbacks move to 12-10 on the season, while the Cubs drop to 9-11 this season.

Arizona Diamondbacks +110 over Chicago Cubs

          • Monday April 22, 2019 - Washington Capitals at Carolina Hurricanes

The Capitals need just one more win to move to the second round. While Carolina has been a pain in the butt for Washington so far in this series, this is where it comes to an end. The Capitals go on the road and finish the job on Monday with a win over the Hurricanes.

Washington Capitals -110 over Carolina Hurricanes

            • Tuesday April 23, 2019 - San Jose Sharks vs. Vegas Golden Knights

Personally, been on the Golden Knights bandwagon this entire season, but it's time to jump off and get back with the team that was better in the regular season. The amazing thing - the Sharks are the top-seeded team left in the Western Conference. San Jose has won their last two games; bouncing back from a 3-1 hole. Now, they are at home, with a chance to seal the deal. The winner of this game and series get the Colorado Avalanche. Look for the Sharks momentum to carry them out on top and into the second round.

San Jose Sharks -110 over Vegas Golden Knights

              • Wednesday, April 24, 2019 - Washington Capitals vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Well we tried on Monday with the Capitals, and now are going back to them for this Game 7. The defending champions are at home against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have been a fun team to follow, but the buck (or puck) stops here. Look for the Capitals to win this game at home over Carolina.

Washington Capitals -150 over Carolina Hurricanes

                • Thursday April 25, 2019 - Denver Nuggets vs. San Antonio Spurs

The Denver Nuggets want to go back home, but they want the Portland Trail Blazers to be waiting for them in Round 2 of the postseason. The Nuggets do NOT want to go back home and play Game 7 of the series. San Antonio is battle-tested, but if Denver comes to play, they should win this game. Take the Nuggets as the underdog on the road.

Denver Nuggets +3 over San Antonio Spurs

                  • Friday April 26, 2019 - St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Cardinals are hot right now, and in first place in the National League Central. The Cardinals are looking to stay hot and win their six straight game on the road as Cincinnati comes into town. The Cardinals ace Miles Mikolas will take the mound to start the series. Look for Mikolas to duplicate his last start. The Cardinals win this game at home over the Reds.

St. Louis Cardinals -145 over Cincinnati Reds

                    • Saturday April 27, 2019 - Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors

So, we have hit the skids a little for the April Play of the Day. Still time to finish with positive numbers for the month. We need a winning streak starting now.

Round two is here, and the 76ers go north of the border and are a "touchdown" underdog. The 76ers lost their game 1, and so did Toronto in the first round. Joel Embiid got some time off to get healthy, and that's a huge key. While the task of winning the game may be too daunting for the 76ers, we do expect them to cover the spread in this game.

We are betting the Philadelphia 76ers +7 over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

                      • Sunday April 28, 2019 - Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets

What's it going to take to get back on track? After a promising start to the month, we are wasting it all down the drain before May gets here. Time to win our last three and stay above .500 for the month. The Warriors are at home, and are going to be on alert in this series. After losing twice in the first round, it's time for Golden State to pick up the pace. Look for the Warriors to frustrate Harden and the Rockets and take this win.

Golden State Warriors -5 over Houston Rockets

                        • Monday April 29, 2019 - Houston Astros at Minnesota Twins

Man, it's been a rough week for the Play of the Day. Time to win the final two days of the month. Justin Verlander and the Astros smack Jake Orodizzi and the Twins. Bet the road favorite.

Houston Astros -165 over Minnesota Twins

                          • Tuesday April 30, 2019 - Cleveland Indians at Miami Marlins

A big favorite, but a big chance for a win. Trevor Bauer goes for the Indians, and his 3-1, 1.99 has been really solid so far. The Indians are on the road, and taking on a guy that has great stuff in Sandy Alcantara. Despite his stuff, the Indians should be able to grab enough to win this game. Take the road Indians.

Cleveland Indians -185 over Miami Marlins

                            • Wednesday May 1, 2019 - Denver Nuggets vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Time to get the May Play of the Day winners. The NBA Playoffs move along, and the Nuggets lead the Trail Blazers 1-0 in the series. The game is in Denver, and Nikola Jokic is the best player on the court. The spread is not very many, and this just seems to be a game that the Nuggets win, and win comfortably. Take Denver -3 at home over Portland.

Denver Nuggets -3 over Portland Trail Blazers

                              • Thursday May 2, 2019 - Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors

The 76ers won a HUGE game two north of the border earlier in the week. Now, the series goes back to the city of brotherly love, where the 76ers are a small underdog. We expect this to be a great game, but this we project to be the best game of the series for the 76ers big man Joel Embiid. We like Embiid to have a monster game against Toronto, and the 76ers to win this game, and take a 2-1 series lead. We are betting the home team - Philadelphia 76ers +1 over the Toronto Raptors.

Philadelphia 76ers +1 over Toronto Raptors
