  • Monday August 5, 2019 - Minnesota Twins vs. Atlanta Braves

Two first-place teams get together as the Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins start a three-game series at Target Field on Wednesday. The Braves are 66-47 while the Twins are 69-42. We also have two solid starting pitchers going in this game. It's Mike Soroka for the Braves and Jose Berrios for the Twins. These dudes are both over 110 innings this season, and have ERA's under 2.90. They are a combined 20-7 on the season as well. This should be a great game. In the end though, we are going with bullpen's to decide this one. We are taking the home team.

Minnesota Twins +105 over Atlanta Braves

    • Tuesday August 6, 2019 - Chicago Cubs vs. Oakland Athletics

The Chicago Cubs are red hot since coming back home from their road trip. Now, they got big game Jon Lester on the mound against a former team. Lester lost in his last start, and that does not happen often. Look for the big lefthander to come through strong in this game on Tuesday. The first place Cubs keep the pressure on and grab another win at the Friendly Confines.

Chicago Cubs -135 over Oakland Athletics

      • Wednesday August 7, 2019 - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Zac Gallen goes for the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Jason Vargas goes for the Philadelphia Phillies. Gallen came over from the Marlins and trying to keep Arizona alive in the National League wildcard race. Jason Vargas - we tried to pick on him in his last start, and it backfired on us. We are going against him again in this game, and taking the home Diamondbacks. Take Arizona at home.

Arizona Diamondbacks -140 over Philadelphia Phillies

        • Thursday August 8, 2019 - Chicago Bears vs. Carolina Panthers

There is a ton of hype around Matt Nagy and the Chicago Bears. Of course, this is a preseason game on Thursday, but we expect the fans to get a pretty solid show of the Monsters on the Midway. Carolina and Chicago seem to meet up regularly in preseason action, and this is one that goes to the home team. We are taking the Chicago Bears at home in their preseason opener.

Chicago Bears -3 over Carolina Panthers

          • Friday August 9, 2019 - Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to come into this season with a chip on their shoulders. Many are picking the Steelers to miss out on the postseason after losing their top two offensive studs from the past. Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell gone, and now new blood comes in. Look for the Steelers to get off on the right foot and take care of a Tampa Bay team still trying to find their footing early on. Bet on the home team.

Pittsburgh Steelers -2 over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

            • Saturday August 10, 2019 - St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

Going to stay away from the National Football League for this Saturday. Adam Wainwright gets a chance to start at home, and he takes on a guy that the Cardinals have had success against this season. St. Louis is playing for a chance at the postseason, while the Pirates have been in a major tail spin as of the last 6 weeks or so. Look for the Cardinals to get out on top and keep that lead. Take the home Cardinals.

St. Louis Cardinals -145 over Pittsburgh Pirates

              • Sunday August 11, 2019 - Philadelphia Phillies at San Francisco Giants

Jake Arrieta is on the mound for the Phillies. Sure, it's not the same Arrieta as previous season's, but with the series on the line on Sunday Night Baseball - we are going to take the veteran right-hander. Look for Philadelphia to get some offense off the youngster known as Conner Menez in this game. We are betting the Phillies as Vegas has this game a toss up.

Philadelphia Phillies -110 over San Francisco Giants

                • Wednesday August 14, 2019 - Washington Nationals vs. Cincinnati Reds

Stephen Strasburg is quietly putting together a fantastic 2019 season. His Washington Nationals will look to help him become the first 15 game-winner in the National League. He has a tough test, as the Cincinnati Reds will send their new ace - Trevor Bauer to the mound. This should be a pretty good baseball game, and we are going with the Nationals to win the game. But, if the bullpen's stay out of the way, the best bet for this game is going to be the under.

Bet the under 9 runs in the Washington Nationals/Cincinnati Reds

                  • Thursday August 15, 2019 - Arizona Cardinals vs. Oakland Raiders

Going to go back to the well in the National Football League. It's not ideal to bet on the pre-season, but this seems to have some value. Kyler Murray gets the chance to go against the Raiders in this one, and we expect Arizona to look solid and win this game on Thursday night. It cannot be worse than our dud of a bet for the play of the day on Wednesday. Take the Cardinals to win this game.

Arizona Cardinals -2.5 over Oakland Raiders

                    • Friday August 16, 2019 - New York Mets at Kansas City Royals

The New York Mets are right in the race for the National League wildcard. The Mets get a little bit of a soft part of their schedule, as they take on the putrid Kansas City Royals. It's Noah Syndergaard for the Mets and Mike Montgomery for the Roya.s. The Royals don't hit real well, so look for a nice night from the ace of the Mets staff. Take the New York Mets on the road to win Friday night.

New York Mets -175 over Kansas City Royals

                      • Saturday August 17, 2019 - Chicago Cubs at Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates have been on some kind of run. The run has been one of the worst in franchise history. You look and they are 20+ games under .500. Thatís amazing. The Pirates will get a chance to host the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, and the road team is sending lefthander Jon Lester to the mound. Look for the veteran lefthander to get back on track after a couple slow starts. The Cubs need a win, and they get one on Saturday with an afternoon win over the Pirates.

Chicago Cubs -140 over Pittsburgh Pirates

                        • Monday August 19, 2019 - Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Denver Broncos are at home on Monday Night Football. Sure, it's not quite the regular season, but it's still a Monday Night Football game. Look for the home Broncos, who are playing their third preseason game to come out ready to roll. The Broncos take out the 49ers early and win this game.

Denver Broncos -1 over San Francisco 49ers

                          • Tuesday August 20, 2019 - Philadelphia Phillies at Boston Red Sox

Aaron Nola gets a chance to go on Tuesday, as they are on the road at Boston. The Phillies and Red Sox are two teams over .500, but both on the outside looking in when it comes to the postseason. Nola has won 11 games this season, and he goes against a youngster in Brian Johnson. Look for Nola to control the game, and come away with the road win. Bet on the Phillies.

Philadelphia Phillies -110 over Boston Red Sox

                            • Wednesday August 21, 2019 - Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels

One of the best pitchers in the American League this season will take the mound at home on Wednesday. Mike Minor has an ERA of under 3.00 on the season, and 11 wins in 2019. He will take on the Angels, with Patrick Sandoval on the mound. Minor against Sandoval seems to be a great advantage for the Rangers. The price for the Rangers is just -130. This seems like a great spot to take the home team. Betting the Rangers over the Angels is the way to go.

Texas Rangers -130 over Los Angeles Angels

                              • Thursday August 22, 2019 - New York Mets vs. Cleveland Indians

There are not many teams hotter than the New York Mets right now. The Mets look to finish the series sweep over the Cleveland Indians on Thursday with Noah Syndergaard on the mound. The Mets have moved to 66-60, which is tied with the Phillies, and 3 back of the Nationals for the top wildcard. They are just 1.5 behind St. Louis for the second wildcard in the National League. Syndergaard is 8-6 on the season, with an ERA of just under 3.90 on the season. He gets a chance to go against Aaron Civale in this one. Cyvale has thrown just 24 innings this season, and is 1-2. Look for another fine performance from the Mets righthander, as the Mets continue to ruin the Indians week. This is a game where we are taking the Mets and like their price!

New York Mets -135 over Cleveland Indians
