NHL first round playoffs underdog system

From ninthmanout

1st round of the playoffs are all about the dogs in the first pair of games. look at the east, all the dogs took one of two on the road. tb, pitt, nyi, and nyr took both. if you played them all, you would have gone 5-3 and made some good coin.
same can be said out west with exception of minnesota and calgary (they play today at +240 with my guy). i am on them already.
there really is not much reasoning behind this but i have played the nhl playoffs like this for 7 years now and have been very very successful to date by focusing in on the dogs of the first 2 games of the first round of the playoffs. anyone else follow this.

Its a good system. I have something similar but with a team I feel will win at any given time. If they don't you double the next play on them. Mostly with dogs but I throw in favs in there as well. Calgary and Minny did screw me but doin ok otherwise.
