Nhl Playoffs 2008

Hope everyones got their bets in. Should be a fun filled playoff with some new faces this year and new teams.

Here's what I'm on:

SERIES: (200 each)
MON -320 over Boston
NYR -115 over NJ Devs
WSH -145 over Philly
OTT +230 over Pitt
NSH +440 over Det
SJ -300 over Cgy
MIN -110 over Col
DAL +190 over Ana

I like Montreal and NY Rangers in the East.
I like Dallas and San Jose in the West.
MONTREAL def. San Jose in 6.

Taking a few risks so I based the playoff on those risks. Lets see how it does. Last season playoffs $4000+ in profits.

Not a great start last night(1-3-1, -345) for the beginning of the playoffs. Key word here is beginning. Its early and considering last year all the favorites basically won in nght 1 this year 3 of 4 dogs won. Like the favorites today for the most part.

I normally will never play this many plays but I feel my mojo working so I'm setting up a 2:1 based system for tonight. My most confident are for 200 and the others are 100 each.

Not at all a bad day on the ice. Now in the positive in the playoffs. Should be able to get a few units this weekend.

NHL Playoffs: 7-7-2, +55

Saturday:

(100) NASHVILLE +240

Think this one goes to OT. Nashville always plays tight in Detroit. Alot of value on this play. They may lose but I feel it will be a one goal game either way. 3-2

(200) BOS/MON OVR 5(-120)
(100) MONTREAL -220
(100) MONTREAL -1.5(+140)
Montreal has owned Boston for the last 2 years at least. I see them sweeping this series. They will win big today by at least 2+ as most games between them have been blowouts. For the total I love the over. The Pens and Sens played under then the total dropped to 5. Same story here. 6+ scored in this one today. Mon 5-2.

(100) DAL/ANA OVR 4.5(-120)
Every game Dallas has played in Anaheim this season went 5 or 6 goals except for the last game. Line dropped and I love a 3-2 game here. Dallas scored 4 alone the other night. Anaheim will get on the board tonight.

Too much offensive power. 8 of the last 10 have gone over.

As I've stated I feel Montreal sweeps. -1.5 looks appetizing.

Unless Montreal has trouble scoring this entire series will be a push/over.

They lose today they are done. Win or lose I feel a low scoring contest.

Had NY winning series but Devs will fight in a low score battle.

Struggled on Sunday losing 4 of 5 plays.
Record going into last night was 10-14-3 postseason, -690.

Last night I rebounded slightly at a 3-2-1 night, +310.

So, NHL postseason is at:

13-15-4, -380. Lets see if I can pull even tonight.

At the time of this post SJ has a 4-2 lead with less than 6 mins to go. If that holds up I'm looking at a 5+ unit evening. NHL is getting hotter by the minute. Stay tuned!
