Re: What would you do here?

you have put yourself in the classic conundrum...calling a preflop raise with a beaten hand and you are now faced with drawing opportunities that are too pretty to walk away from...this is usually a recipe for (your) suicide...fold your crappy J10suited in the face of a raise from a tight player preflop and AVOID THIS SITUATION

I would reraise here, especially if you put the player on a continuation bet. Usually a continuation bet is around 50% of the pot after a preflop raise and is an indication the player missed the flop. In this situation you have top pair, 2nd best kicker, and a K-high flush draw. You may be able to win the pot outright by having your opponent fold or you may outdraw him if he calls. Keep in mind that your opponent may also read the raise as 2-pair or a set and have the sense to lay down a big pair.

I agree. Especially if it a tight player. If you know that your hand is beat, why put chips in preflop? Why not just choose another spot to play? Besides, even tight players who are shortstacked need to loosen up and take a risk at some point. That is when you can catch them.
