New here at Capper's Lounge. I've been playing poker pretty much all my life. I've always had an interest in cards, but not so much in the betting aspect. Not really a gambler, but have just gotten into it recently. I have been playing low-stake hold 'em games quite frequently, since I have freerolled onto bodog just last week. These sites seem to have helped a lot, since I have been playing bodog for a while and haven't placed in any tourneys.

Freeroll tourneys are every other week. If you meet the requirements, (10 relevant posts and a bodog account) PM Taco to get the password.
I've been playing poker for a little over 2 year now and I was able to win a freeroll on PP within my first year of playing that gave me a seat in the 06' WSOP Main Event. Even though I didn't cash, it was an experience of a lifetime. I'm primarily a NL Hold Em' tournament player, however I'm looking to gain an edge in NL cash games. When it comes to cash games I'm like a blind man in an orgy, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome, Ima. I also play on bodog. See you there sometime. Just be persistent and play as many tourneys as you can. I hope you start placing in the money soon. Good Luck!

In the last week and a half I have taken the $12 the money I got placing 9th out of 5000 players in the bodog daily $1000 guaranteed freeroll, and from that $12 won $50 and $70 in two tourney's where i placed in the money. the first was a $2 buy-in late night game, and the second just last saturday in the 10k guaranteed. see you guys out there!
i started playng n/l tourney hold 'em in 1998 retire in about 06... my advice to you find something more productive with your time.. if you insit on playing do not play new people cause hold 'em has a crazy way of letting new comers win.. ive seen one too many idiot with too much money and dont care about money draw 2 cards to win a hand.. it made me sick

..............and don't forget they are 5-2 ATS in night games on astro turf in 2nd week in November in non-confrence away games vs. a left handed QB in the last 40 years when the line is between -5 and 5 coming vs a ranked opponent coming off a SU win as a dog and the total is over 36.5 when there was a NBA game played the night before and the temperature is between 40-70 degrees
I'm also new here.. I've been playing some form of poker for the past ten years, with the past five or six devoted purely to NL HE... I've kept it pretty simple to home cash games and tourneys to some small live games and tourneys at various locations. I play a lot on Bodog and am looking forward to joining in on the weekly freerolls here.

Ima, congratulations. I have also had some luck with the $1000 bodog freeroll. I places seventh about a month ago, but I was not however as fortunate going forward. Good luck to you.
