Round 10 of the Capper's Lounge Invitational Poker Tournament series is coming up and it is open to all Capper's Lounge members. It's small buy-in with an additional $100 in prizes added to the prize pool.

This tournament series is our way of saying thanks for being a Capper's Lounge member. Big thanks to Bodog for hosting this tournament and putting up $100 weekly in free prizes.

Wednesday - December 5th at 9:05 pm EST
Buy-in: $5. In addition to the normal prize pool, an additional $100 in tournament chips will be awarded to winners as follows:

1st place: 50 TC$
2nd place: 30 TC$
3rd place: 20 TC$


How to sign up:

1. If not already a Bodog Poker player, register (via this link) and open a free account and download the Bodog Poker Software (if you already have a Bodog poker account, skip to step 3)

2. Any time after 9:05PM eastern time on Monday, open the Bodog poker software and select the "Scheduled Tournament" tab. Then select the "Daily" tab and then click on the "Private" filter.

4. Select the tournament Capper's Lounge Invitational and enter this passcode: Capper419.

Registration will begin 48 hrs prior to the tournament (Monday night at 9:05 PM).

Why not just make it a freeroll? Why the small buy-in?

I like the buy in, too - When I win I'll get cash & tourney credits, too!

The buy-in will do two things:

1. Reduce freeroll scavengers (those trolling the Internet looking for any/all freerolls). The management of the tourney when in freeroll form was becoming very burdensome. With this format, we will be left with people from the Lounge who aren't just scanning the Internet for freerolls.

2. Make the prize pools bigger and more meaningful. Instead of a total of $100 prize pool, we'll now have a pool of $100 + $5 for each entrant.

Yes, I know, we all like something for nothing. But, this is just $5 and you still get your shot at $100 free.

i will be there with bells on and will be a better tournament as well with it being a buyin ...Glad to see that will reward members here a game of poker that will be of more meaningful play!! The few ive played in before were played like a free roll with players giving badbeats only because they had no vested money in it and played terribly..Just my opinion.. I HAVE WON THE 1K AND 500 AT BODOG FREE ROLLS .. YOU LEARN TO PUT UP WITH THE ALLIN 'ERS AND BADBEATS .. BUT in a private game with a small buyin will tend to weed out the free roll whores.. This method will reward the members of CAPPERS and not just have joe blow and sue pugh from crashing a game meant to reward members..I think every1 can see where I stand on this issue sometime back and EVERY1 INTERSTED IN MORE GAMES AND BETTER PAYOUTS TO LOOK FOR MY POST ABOUT MONTHLY POINTS TOURNAMENT WITH 1 TO 2 GAMES WEEKLY OR ,feel free to post your thoughts on more games here and what you think about future pokler playing here at CAPPERS ..I know THIS SITE IS PRIMARILY A SPORTSBETTING FORUM , BUT WITH ENUFF INTEREST, THE OWNER AND ADMINS HERE WILL GIVE ( P O K E R) A consideration if WE the MEMBERS come TOGETHER and post SHOW that POKER on a weekly basis or a type of LEAGUE is viable option for the growth and would be supported by us members..EVERY1 PLEASE LOOK for my POST under POKER STRATEGY IN THE FORUM TO THE FAR RIGHT OF THE FRONT PAGE..

i think it is a good idea to mix in a buy-in amongst the freerolls...we all should see a more realistic style of play when everybody has invested some of their own cash to the tourney...good luck everyone!!
