Un Freaking Real!!!
Ok. I've had some of the worse bad beats on Bodog, but what I experienced earlier was "UN FREAKING REAL".
Let me set the scene:
I'm playing at the America $300 Max with the blinds $2.00/$3.00.
I have $646.00 at the table. A new player enters the game and now
there's 4 of us. Before he enter it was very casual and some what entertaining.
A lot of chatting and joking around while we we're playing. The average pot
is probably 40.00.
The new player enters and is very aggressive and I get ticked and I vow to catch him so he would either leave broke or re-up.
So, What do I see in front of me Pocket Queens. I generally hate this hand, it never holds up during tournament play , but heads up is a whole different story. So I raise to $50.00 and he calls. I figured he's on two paint cards and possibly one of my queens.
The flop comes Queen, Queen, Nine. I've just flopped quad queens so the only way to properly play this hand now is slow play'em and hope he catches a pair. I check and he raises $50.00 and I call. The turn comes and it's a King. Now I'm pretty sure he hit; at least I hope he did. So I make a feeler bet of $20 and he re raises me to another $30 and I call. The turn comes and it's another King. He of course goes all in. I call with out the slightest hesitation and WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT... THIS JERK HAS POCKET KINGS. He has beat my quad queens with quad kings.
I'm getting extremely tired of these unrealistic bad beats day after day. No matter what you have in your hand you automatically assume your going to get out drawn. It effects my betting and diminishes the game play dramatically.
I've played on bodog for so long that I honestly don't want to go else where but enough is enough.
If I would have been on Ultimate Bet I at least would have hit for 10k or more with the Bad Beat pot.
What do you all think about bodog's consistent bad beats?
